Rainer Hank

Born in 1953, Rainer Hank is an economic journalist. From 2001 to 2018, he headed the business and finance department of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung. He subsequently worked as a writer and columnist for various media outlets, particularly the FAS. Hank received the Ludwig Erhard Prize in 2009, the Karl Hermann Flach Prize in 2013, and the Hayek Medal in 2014. His 2017 book, “Lob der Macht,” was nominated for the German Business Book Prize. His other publications include “Die Loyalitätsfalle” (2021).
