Robert Prosser, born in 1983 in Alpbach, Tyrol, studied comparative literature as well as cultural and social anthropology in Innsbruck and Vienna. He worked as an author, performance artist and curator. His publications include the novels “Phantome” (2017), “Gemma Habibi” (2019) and “Verschwinden in Lawinen” (2023), as well as “Geister und Tattoos” (2013). His literary work has received several distinctions, including the Reinhard Priessnitz Prize in 2014. “Phantome” was longlisted for the German Book Prize in 2017.
