Richard Dehmel

Richard Dehmel (1863–1920) was a German writer and poet. In addition to poetry, he wrote children’s books together with his first wife, Paula Dehmel. He was also a co-founder of the art and literary magazine PAN. Numerous poems by Dehmel were set to music by well-known composers, including Richard Strauss.
