Radna Fabias was born in Curaçao in 1983 and moved to the Netherlands at the age of seventeen. She studied at the Utrecht School of the Arts. In 2016, she received the Ostend Poetry Prize. Her first poetry collection, “Habitus,” was published in 2018 and received, among other awards, the Grote Poëzieprijs and the C. Buddingh’ Prize. Fabias also worked as a translator, translating, among other works, Louise Glück’s poetry collection “Averno” into Dutch.
