Matthias Remenyi

Matthias Remenyi, born in 1971, is a theologian and educationalist. He studied theology and education in Freiburg and received his doctorate there in 2005 with a dissertation on Jürgen Moltmann. From 2004 to 2010, he was a research associate at RWTH Aachen; he subsequently taught systematic theology at Freie Universität Berlin. He later served as a professor of fundamental theology and comparative religious studies at the Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Würzburg. Remenyi holds a doctorate and habilitation in theology as well as a degree in education.
