Andreas R. Batlogg, born in 1962, is an Austrian Jesuit and theologian. He studied philosophy and theology in Innsbruck, Vienna and Jerusalem and earned a doctorate in theology. From 2000 to 2017, he was a member of the editorial staff of the journal Stimmen der Zeit, serving as its publisher and editor-in-chief from 2009 to 2017. From 2008 to 2015, he directed the Karl Rahner Archive in Munich. Batlogg was a co-editor of Karl Rahner’s Complete Works and worked in pastoral ministry at St Michael’s Jesuit Church in Munich. His publications include Der evangelische Papst, Durchkreuzt and Jesus begegnen.
