Margret Rasfeld

Margret Rasfeld (born 1951) worked for almost 40 years as a teacher, in teacher training and as a school principal, including around two decades at the Evangelische Schule Berlin-Zentrum in Berlin. She advocated a new approach to education and in 2012 co-founded the initiative Schule im Aufbruch with Stephan Breidenbach and Gerald Hüther. Rasfeld published, among other works, the books EduAction (2012) and Schulen im Aufbruch (2014). Her educational projects received several awards, including the Querdenker Award in the “Vordenker” category in 2013 and the Aufbruch Award in 2020.
