Ise Bosch

Ise Bosch (born 1964) grew up in Stuttgart and studied history in Portland, Oregon. She studied electric bass in Berlin and worked as a freelance musician in jazz and world music during the 1990s. She was a co-founder of filia. Die Frauenstiftung and founded Dreilinden gGmbH, an organization supporting the rights of lesbian, bisexual, trans* and intersex people. In 2003, she co-founded Pecunia – Das ErbinnenNetzwerk with other women. Her publications include “Besser spenden! Ein Leitfaden für nachhaltiges Engagement” (2007) and “Geben mit Vertrauen. Wie Philanthropie transformativ wird” (2018). In 2018, she received the German Donors’ Award (Deutscher Stifterinnenpreis).
