Friederike Feldmann

Friederike Feldmann, born in Bielefeld in 1962, is a German painter. From 1983 to 1992, she studied at the Berlin University of the Arts under Wolfgang Ludwig and Achim Freyer. In 2003–04, she was a guest professor of painting at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig, and from 2008 to 2012 she held a professorship in painting at the Kunsthochschule Kassel. From 2012, she taught painting at weißensee kunsthochschule berlin. Her work has been shown at venues including Kunsthalle Wien, Kunsthalle Bielefeld, Museum Fridericianum Kassel, Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg, Hamburger Bahnhof, and Hamburger Kunsthalle.
