Don Heck

Don Heck (1929–1995) was an American comic-book artist who worked alongside Stan Lee’s artistic collaborators during the formative years of the Marvel era. He worked in several genres, particularly horror and romance comics. At Marvel, he drew The Avengers and helped create Iron Man, Tony Stark, the Wasp, Hawkeye, and Black Widow. He was an Avengers artist for more than a decade and also worked extensively for DC Comics. Heck continued working as a prolific comic-book creator until his death.
