J. M. Dematteis

J. M. DeMatteis is a comic book writer and screenwriter. His work for Marvel includes the stories “Kraven’s Last Hunt,” “The Clone Saga,” and “Maximum Carnage,” as well as comics featuring Spider-Man, Captain America, the Defenders, Daredevil, and the Silver Surfer. For DC, he wrote stories featuring Wonder Woman and Doctor Fate and contributed to a redefinition of the Justice League. His creator-owned comics include “Moonshadow” and “Abadazad.” He has also written for television series such as “Spider-Man,” “The Real Ghostbusters,” and “The Twilight Zone.”
