Brian Michael Bendis

Brian Michael Bendis is an American comic-book writer and former cartoonist. Before working for Marvel, he established himself in the independent comics scene with crime comics such as Jinx and Torso. For more than two decades, he helped shape the Marvel Universe through series and events including Daredevil, Spider-Man, New Avengers, House of M, Secret Invasion, The Siege and Iron Man. He was also one of the creators of the Ultimate Universe and wrote a total of 188 issues of Ultimate Spider-Man. Together with artist Michael Avon Oeming, he created the superhero-cop series Powers. In 2018, Bendis moved to DC Comics, where he worked on titles including Superman, Action Comics and Young Justice.
