Catherine Nichols (born 1974) is a German curator and author. She has curated monographic exhibitions and retrospectives on contemporary art, including projects on Joseph Beuys, as well as thematic exhibitions such as “Die Leidenschaften. Ein Drama in fünf Akten” for the Deutsches Hygiene-Museum Dresden and “Das Kapital. Schuld – Territorium – Utopie” for the Nationalgalerie im Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart Berlin, co-curated with Eugen Blume. Nichols has co-edited several books, including “Beuys. Die Revolution sind wir” (2008) and “Black Mountain. Ein interdisziplinäres Experiment 1933–1957” (2015).
