Thomas Sparr

Thomas Sparr (born 1956 in Hamburg) is an author, literary scholar, and publishing editor. He studied literary studies and philosophy in Marburg, Hamburg, and Paris. His professional positions included the Hebrew University and the Leo Baeck Institute in Jerusalem, the German Literature Archive in Marbach, the Jüdischer Verlag, Siedler Verlag, and Suhrkamp Verlag. His publications include Grunewald im Orient. Das deutsch-jüdische Jerusalem (2018), Todesfuge. Biographie eines Gedichts (2020), and Ich will fortleben, auch nach meinem Tod. Die Biographie des Tagebuchs der Anne Frank (2023).
