Dorothee Kimmich is a scholar of literature and cultural studies. She held a professorship in literary cultural studies and cultural theory, as well as in modern German literature, at the University of Tübingen. Her research focuses include literary theory, the relationship between philosophy and literature, and the literature of classical modernism. Her publications include “Lebendige Dinge in der Moderne” (2011) and “Ins Ungefähre. Ähnlichkeit und Moderne” (2017).
