Rachel Gratzfeld worked as an editor and publishing program director at Scherz Verlag and Klett Schweiz. As a literary agent, she represented Georgian publishers and authors, including Nino Haratischwili and Tamta Melaschwili. She worked as a translator of Georgian literature and translated works by, among others, Aka Mortschiladse, Lasha Bugadze, Davit Gabunia, Tatia Nadareischwili, and Dawit Kldiaschwili. She was also the editor and co-translator of the anthology “Bittere Bonbons – Georgische Geschichten” and a co-translator of “Georgien. Eine literarische Reise.” In 2022, she served on the jury for Georgia’s SABA Literary Prize.
