Petra Steps

Petra Steps (born 1959) was born in Zwickau and comes from the Vogtland region. She holds degrees in philosophy and higher-education pedagogy and has worked as a journalist, editor and author. She edited anthologies about Saxony and the Vogtland as well as crime-fiction anthologies, and published short crime stories, travel books and contributions to regional non-fiction volumes. She also contributed to various regional projects and led writing workshops. For the Schloss Netzschkau association, she served as artistic director and organizer of the Vogtland Crime Literature Days. She was a member of the Syndikat writers’ association.
