Peter J. Scholz

Peter J. Scholz was born in Bergisch Gladbach in 1967 and began writing in his youth. In 2008, he received the Literature Prize of the City of Moers. After spending a quarter of a century as an employee and manager in a cinema, he retrained as a geriatric nurse. He made his debut in 2012 with the short-story collection “Irgendwas, das bleibt,” followed in 2013 by “KopfKissenKino.” His work has also appeared in anthologies published by Edition Paashaas. He describes his fiction as “fairy tales for adults”: realistically grounded stories enhanced with fantastical elements.
