Monika Lorenz

Monika Lorenz trained as a legal and notarial assistant and subsequently worked as an administrative clerk in several municipal administrations. After retiring, she took up dance training, learned watercolour painting and returned to writing, also prompted by the events in Ukraine. In 2022, she joined BLAutor, a writing group for blind and visually impaired authors. Her short stories have appeared in several anthologies. Her published books include “Abenteuerliche Anekdoten blind erlebt” (2023), “Weihnachtsmodus on” (2023), “Als die roten Schuhe zu Asche wurden” (2024), “Blind verliebt” (2024) and “Vergiss mein nicht” (2024).
