Peer Trilcke, born in 1981, is a German literary scholar. From 2006 to 2016, he was a research associate at the Department of German Philology at the University of Göttingen. He subsequently taught nineteenth-century German literature at the University of Potsdam, where he also headed the Theodor Fontane Archive. In 2012, he received his doctorate with a dissertation on the poet Thomas Kling. His publications include “Historisches Rauschen. Das geschichtslyrische Werk Thomas Klings” (2012), the co-edited volume “Das Gellen der Tinte. Zum Werk Thomas Klings” (2012), and “Geschichtslyrik. Ein Kompendium” (2013). He has also worked as a poetry critic.
