Marta Donato

Marta Donato was born in Munich and studied German and art history. She first worked as a bookseller and later for a Munich media company. For several decades, she has written novels and short stories, including crime novels set in the Veneto region and the Chiemgau. Her Italian-Bavarian crime novel Death at Lake Garda became a long-running bestseller. Her Italian crime novel The Gardens of Villa Sabrini, published under the pseudonym Cristina Camera, was adapted for television by Germany’s ZDF.
