Arno Wilhelm

Arno Wilhelm (born 1988 in Karl-Marx-Stadt, now Chemnitz) is a German author, poet, and poetry slammer. He moved to Berlin in 2008 and performed at poetry slams from 2009 onward. In 2011, he founded the poetry reading stage “Dichtungsring” in Berlin-Neukölln. His publications include the poetry collections “Schlicht & Ergreifend,” “Ich und mein kleines Luxusproblem,” “BABYPOesie,” and “Ich wär gern ein Pandabär,” as well as the novels “Jack Rodman – die ganze Wahrheit” (2012) and “Was man so alles tut kurz vor dem Weltuntergang” (2019). Wilhelm studied computer science and holds a doctorate in the field. His poem “Moderne Kleingärtnervereine” was adapted as a poetry video.
