Bernhard Hagemann

Bernhard Hagemann was born in Bad Reichenhall in 1956 and grew up in the Chiemgau region. He worked as a photographer and author of books for children and young adults. He developed a passion for photography as a teenager and initially made it his profession, working among other things for educational publishers and contributing photographs to nonfiction books, architecture magazines, and home-interior magazines. In 1992, he published his first children’s novel, “Paul, Dreiviertelsommer mit Hund.” He subsequently published numerous further books for children and young adults, as well as short stories in anthologies.
