Heidi Rehn

Heidi Rehn, born in 1966 in Koblenz, grew up in the Middle Rhine Valley and studied German and history in Munich. She worked as a freelance journalist before devoting herself to writing. She is best known for historical novels, including works set in Munich during the first half of the twentieth century. In 2014, she received the Goldener Homer award for the best historical novel of relationships and society. Her publications include The Magician’s Daughter – Erika Mann and Her Escape into Life, The Double Face, and The Last Guilt.
