Marion Blomeyer

Marion Blomeyer studied at the State University of Design Karlsruhe and then worked for three years at the Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazine. She subsequently founded the Lowlypaper design studio in Munich. As a designer, she worked with publishers including Büchergilde Gutenberg, Suhrkamp, Die Andere Bibliothek, Hirmer, Zsolnay, Antje Kunstmann, Manesse, C. H. Beck, Thienemann, and Gerstenberg. She also taught visual communication, graphic design, and typography at various universities. Her book projects include the designed volume “Anna Atkins, Blue Prints” (2021) and the 2023 edition of “Young Scientists,” which she illustrated together with four other illustrators. Her work received numerous awards.
