Ludwig Maurer

Ludwig Maurer, also known as “Lucki” Maurer, is a German chef, cookbook author and state-certified master chef. He learned the culinary trade from the ground up and began working in professional kitchens at the age of 15. In 2007, together with his wife Stephanie, he became one of the first people in Europe to breed Wagyu cattle organically. Maurer founded the catering company Ludwig Maurer’s MEATing Point and worked as a meat expert and food stylist for specialist magazines. He also published recipes and books focusing on meat and food.
