Juliane Seidel was born in 1983 in Suhl, Thuringia. She worked as a team assistant and writes fantasy books for children and young adults. Her publications include the children’s series “Assjah,” the self-published urban fantasy trilogy “Nachtschatten,” and the young adult novel “Herz aus Kristall,” which focuses on queer female protagonists. She also edited the benefit anthologies “Like a Dream” and “Like a (bad) Dream.” Seidel was involved in the queer review blog “Like a Dream” and organized the literary festival “QUEER gelesen.”
