Johanna Rahner

Johanna Rahner (born 1962 in Baden-Baden) studied Catholic theology and biology at the University of Freiburg. She received her doctorate in theology there in 1997 and completed her habilitation in fundamental theology and ecumenical theology at the University of Münster in 2003. After serving in temporary teaching and professorial positions in Freiburg, Münster, Karlsruhe, and Bamberg, she became Professor of Dogmatics, History of Dogma, and Ecumenical Theology at the University of Tübingen in 2014. Her research focuses on ecclesiological, sacramental-theological, and ecumenical questions.
