Jan Loffeld

Jan Loffeld (born 1975) studied theology in Münster and Rome and was ordained a priest in 2003. After serving as a chaplain and university chaplain and completing a doctorate in pastoral theology, he worked as an assistant at the Chair of Dogmatic Theology in Münster. In 2017, he was appointed professor of pastoral theology at the Catholic University of Applied Sciences in Mainz. He completed his habilitation at the University of Erfurt in 2018. In 2019, he became professor of practical theology at Tilburg University’s School of Catholic Theology in Utrecht.
