Ursula Schumacher

Ursula Schumacher was born in 1979. She studied Catholic theology, Hispanic studies and education at the universities of Bochum and San Cristóbal de La Laguna, and received her doctorate in Augsburg in 2013. Her professional career has included a traineeship, work in adult education run by the Catholic Church, teaching at the University of Fribourg and a professorship at the Karlsruhe University of Education. She also held a professorship in systematic theology at the University of Lucerne. Her research focuses include the theology of grace and the history of theology in the 19th and 20th centuries.
