Isobel Markus

Isobel Markus is a German writer. She studied English studies and library science at Humboldt University of Berlin. Her short stories have appeared in literary journals and anthologies and have been translated into Arabic. Her publications include *Die Stadt der ausgefallenen Leuchtbuchstaben* (2021), *Der Satz* (2022), *Neues aus der Stadt der ausgefallenen Leuchtbuchstaben* (2023), and the novel *Dating-Roman* (2024). She has also contributed to art and photography projects and organized the “Berliner Salonage” series at Berlin’s Lettrétage, bringing together artists from different genres.
