Doris Brockmann is an author of short and very short stories. Her publications include “Die Erbseninseln,” ten literary passages about what is described as Europe’s smallest island group; “Tuppek am seidenen Faden,” a crime novel about a writer; and “Nur ein kleines bisschen Glück,” a story about the Höxter criminal case. Her work has also appeared in anthologies and literary journals including “Lichtungen,” “Kolik,” “mischen,” and “Literatur und Kritik.” Among other distinctions, Brockmann received the 10th Munich Short Story Prize and the Erostepost Literature Prize in 2019.
