Gunter Klein

Günter Klein, born in 1962 in Augsburg, is a sports journalist and author. From 1998 onward, he worked for the newspaper Münchner Merkur, ultimately serving as its chief sports reporter. He previously worked for Sport-Kurier and headed the editorial department of Eishockey-Magazin. Klein has published numerous books about ice hockey, including Die Droge Eishockey, as well as a satirical FC Bayern fan book and the biography Hoeneß (2019).
