Bastian Pastewka, born in 1972 in Bochum, is a German actor and comedian. He left his studies in education, German literature and sociology and began performing with stage programs in 1992. He became known through the sketch show »Die Wochenshow«. From 2005 to 2020, he played the title role in the multi-award-winning series »Pastewka«, which concluded after ten seasons. He also appeared in the films »Der WiXXer« and »Neues vom WiXXer«, worked in theater and radio plays, and lent his voice to dubbed films and audiobooks. His awards include the German Comedy Award, the German Television Award, the Grimme Award, the Romy and the Golden Camera.
