Gerhard Langer

Gerhard Langer was born in Salzburg in 1960. A scholar of Jewish studies, he took up a professorship in Jewish studies at the University of Vienna in 2010. Alongside his academic work, he wrote crime novels. “Gnädig ist der Tod” is the first book featuring the Viennese investigator Michael Winter.
