Ernst Glaeser
Author · 4 books
Ernst Glaeser (1902–1963) studied in Freiburg and Munich and worked for the Frankfurter Zeitung and Südwestdeutscher Rundfunk. In 1933, his writings were burned after being classified as pacifist and Marxist, and he subsequently emigrated to Switzerland. He returned to Germany in 1939, served as a soldier, and became an editor for a German military newspaper. After 1945, Glaeser published several more books, though they did not match the success of his earlier works.
