Carlos Collado Seidel

Carlos Collado Seidel is a historian who taught as an adjunct professor of modern and contemporary history at the University of Marburg. He also taught and conducted research at German, Spanish, and British universities. His research focuses on the history and society of Spain in the 20th and 21st centuries, European nationalisms, experiences of dictatorship, and coming to terms with the past. In 2017, he became secretary general of the German PEN Centre.
