Klaus Farin

Born in Gelsenkirchen in 1958, Klaus Farin began his career as a school-newspaper editor and fanzine maker, and later worked as a concert promoter and security guard, bookseller, and journalist. He subsequently worked as a freelance author, editor, and lecturer. In 1998, he founded the Archive of Youth Cultures, which he directed until 2011. His books and essays address subjects including skinheads, football fans, goths, and Karl May. His publications include the volume “Krieg in den Städten,” co-written with Eberhard Seidel, and “Böhse Onkelz” (2017).
