Barbara Sauser

Barbara Sauser, born in Bern in 1974, studied Slavic studies and musicology. After several years at the Rotpunktverlag publishing house in Zurich, she worked freelance from 2009 as a translator from Italian, French, Russian and Polish. She translated works by, among others, Fabio Pusterla, Paolo Cognetti, Massimo Carlotto and Ruska Jorjoliani. In 2023, she received the Viceversa Prize from the Swiss Schiller Foundation for literary translation.
