Valentina Mira was born in Rome in 1991. After studying law, she worked as a waitress and in a call center. She later wrote for, among others, Corriere della Sera, Il manifesto and Il romanista, and worked as a ghostwriter and translator from French. She also co-authored “A parole nostre,” the feminist section of the newspaper Il Fatto Quotidiano. Her first novel, “X,” was published in 2021 and received the Premio Roberto Scialabba.
