Paolo Cognetti

Paolo Cognetti, born in Milan in 1978, studied mathematics, graduated from film school and produced documentaries before turning to writing. His 2017 novel The Eight Mountains became an international bestseller, won the Premio Strega and was adapted for the cinema. His other works include Sofia Always Wears Black and Without Ever Reaching the Summit.
