Galia Ackerman

Galia Ackerman (born 1948) is a historian and author. She specializes in the history of the Soviet Union, post-Soviet Russia and Ukraine, and has published around ten books. Among her best-known works is “Le Régiment Immortel. Putins heiliger Krieg” (2019; reissued 2022), an examination of the ideology of Putin’s Russia.
