Walter Delabar

Walter Delabar, born in 1957, studied social sciences and German in Aachen. He received his doctorate from the University of Essen in 1987 and completed his habilitation at Freie Universität Berlin in 1998. His academic interests include literature and culture from the 17th to the 21st century, as well as theories of modernity, media and culture, and literary-historical lexicography. Alongside his academic work, Delabar worked in industry and as a journalist and publicist.
