Jochen Vogt

Jochen Vogt was Professor of German Studies, literary studies and literature education at the University of Essen and later the University of Duisburg-Essen from 1973 to 2008. From 1996 to 2004, he served as a reviewer for the German Research Foundation in the field of modern German literature. He was also a fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities in North Rhine-Westphalia from 2002 to 2005 and headed the master’s program “Literatur und Medienpraxis” at the University of Duisburg-Essen from 2006 to 2008.
