Volker Ladenthin

Volker Ladenthin, born in Münster in 1953, studied history, philosophy and German studies. From 1995 to 2019, he taught as a professor of historical and systematic educational science at the University of Bonn. Before that, he worked for several years as a secondary-school teacher of German, history and philosophy at a grammar school and a college. His research interests included value education, the theory and organisation of schools, boarding schools and homeschooling. He also served as co-editor of the Vierteljahresschrift für wissenschaftliche Pädagogik.
