Stefan Litt

Stefan Litt, born in 1969, studied history and Jewish studies at the Free University of Berlin and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He received his doctorate there in 2001 for a dissertation on early modern Jewish history. In 2008, he completed his habilitation at the University of Graz. From 2010 onward, Litt worked at the National Library of Israel in Jerusalem, where his responsibilities included German-language estates and collections, archival reference work, and the humanities. In 2014, he received the Rosl and Paul Arnsberg Prize from the Stiftung Polytechnische Gesellschaft.
