Sandra Borgmann, born in 1974 in Mülheim an der Ruhr, studied acting at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen from 1994 to 1997. She worked in film and television from 1997 onward and made her cinema debut in 2000 in “Oi! Warning.” She became known for productions including “Berlin, Berlin,” “Im Juli,” “The Baader Meinhof Complex,” “KDD,” “Tatort,” and “Dark.” In the NDR-produced episodes of the audio drama series “ARD Radio Tatort,” she voiced investigator Bettina Breuer. In 2004, she was nominated for the German Television Award for Best Supporting Actress; in 2022, she received a German Television Actors Award nomination for her performance in “Der König von Palma.”
