Rieke Patwardhan

Rieke Patwardhan grew up in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. As a child, she climbed trees and read the books she borrowed from her older sisters. After training as a bookseller and studying various humanities subjects, she qualified as a psychologist before becoming a children’s author. In 2020, she received the Special Prize of the German Children’s and Young Adult Literature Prize in the “New Talent” category for her book “Forschungsgruppe Erbsensuppe oder wie wir Omas großem Geheimnis auf die Spur kamen.”
