Caroline Wahl

Caroline Wahl was born in Mainz in 1995 and grew up near Heidelberg. She studied German studies in Tübingen and German literature in Berlin, then worked for several publishing houses. Her debut novel, “22 Bahnen,” was published in 2023 and received the Ulla Hahn Authors’ Prize, the Grimmelshausen Promotion Prize, and the Family Novel Book Prize of the Ravensburger Foundation. It was also named the Independent Booksellers’ Favorite Book of 2023. Her second novel, “Windstärke 17,” followed the success of her debut.
