Rebekka Ladewig

Rebekka Ladewig (born 1974) studied cultural studies, art history and philosophy and received her doctorate in cultural studies from Humboldt University of Berlin in 2012. She worked as a research associate at the “Image Knowledge Gestaltung” Cluster of Excellence and moved to the Faculty of Media at Bauhaus University Weimar in 2014. From 2018 to 2020, she served as acting professor of the history and theory of cultural techniques. In 2020/21, she was a visiting professor at the University of Vienna, followed by a research fellowship at the Internationales Forschungszentrum Kulturwissenschaften Wien in 2021/22. Ladewig is a founding member and co-editor of the cultural studies journal “ilinx” and the book series “ilinx-Kollaborationen”.
